Analog Circuit Design

Inhalt

The topic of this lecture is analog chip design. The lectures cover the following theoretical topics: CMOS semiconductor technology and transistors, and the analysis of circuits with feedback. CMOS amplifiers: ranging from simpler circuits such as the common-source amplifier to multistage, differential, and clocked amplifiers. The origin of noise and noise sources in integrated circuits. Layout design and layout effects. Analog-to-digital converters. In the DAS exercises, circuits are designed using the Cadence chip design software package in 65 nm CMOS technology. We start with simple circuits, which are then combined and expanded. By the end, a state-of-the-art analog-to-digital converter will be designed.
